Software Engineer
RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for a Software Engineer to support and join their expanding team

Software Engineer
Rate: £Neg via Umbrella company (up to £38.00ph)
Software Engineer Maintain and develop real-time embedded software for vehicle propulsion systems using Agile processes and tools.
Skills Required:
Software engineering skills covering the V cycle, and C or derived C Programming language knowledge
Experience across the software V cycle with complex real-time embedded software and also working in an Agile Release Train where multiple scrums contribute towards the ART objectives.
Experience within Model based design, ideally using Embedded Coder for the code generation engine
Skills Preferred:
Safe Agile, Software Quality, Software Process, Jira, Matlab Simulink
Experience Required:
Software development in a real-time embedded context
Experience Preferred:
Requirement writing, test case design, Agile ceremonies, Windows, Linux, MS
Education Required:
Degree or significant software experience
Education Preferred:
Degree in software related discipline
Additional Information:
Ability to respond positively on time limited issues and to prioritise several tasks. Contract to end 2023 and then in year end renewals Hybrid working (within the UK), 1-2 days on site per week as agreed with Supervisor. INSIDE IR35
